TIFF stands for tagged image file format which includes both extensions .tif and .tiff. This file format was created many years ago and is now under control of Adobe systems. Tiff files are images that also have the capability to store meta data or tags. In order to view these types of file formats a tiff viewer or reader is necessary. The SDR Free Tiff Viewer does just that and more. You can open all tiff files, zoom in and zoom out, rotate the tif image as well as print to a local printer.
