pro Fit

pro Fit is a powerful tool for the data and function analysis, plotting and curve fit graphing. It comes with aspreadsheet editor for handling numeric, date and time, and alphanumeric data sets of millions of rows and columns, a drawing editor for creating high quality graphs and presentations, powerful curve fitting and data analysis tools, a built-in Pascal-based compiler with complex and matrix data types, a source-level debugger for programming functions and macros, a module for 3D-plotting based on OpenGL, and more. It provides a context sensitive help mechanism, and is scriptable and recordable with Apple Script and Pascal commands.

What is new in this release:

This release fixes various issues with modifying and drawing of different shapes, including color plot offset, rotated plots and exports to eps files. It adds some new features like step-wise color plots, menu for removal of all added scripts, preference for auto-saving of added scripts.

What is new in version 7.0.7:

This fixes some issues with FFT, inserting rows, permanent calculations, and multiple fitting command, and removing some instabilities and short-comings.

What is new in version 7.0.6:

This is a minor bux fix release, removing some instabilities and short-comings. It also updates values in constants menu of function windows. Go get it. It is free for all pro Fit 7 users.

What is new in version 7.0.4:

This release fixes issues with personalizing multi-user licenses, an instability of graph style handling, and reduced intermittent high-CPU usage, among some other minor bugs. It also adds HDF5 data file import support as a new feature.

This is a small bug-fix release.

What is new in version 7.0b1:

• All windows now have a toolbar. Control click on the toolbar, or choose "Customize toolbar..." from the file menu to change its appearance, e.g. make the icons smaller, remove the text, or add new items.
• Documents are autosaved into their respective documents according to your System Preference settings. Previous versions of the same file using the "Revert To" entry in the File menu.
• When you buy pro Fit from the App Store, documents can be saved on iCloud. (Note that this feature is not visible in the beta program because only applications that have been installed through the Mac App Store can support iCloud.)
