OneCard is a Cocoa card game with rules similar to Uno. Fun for all ages from 5 up. In OneCard you try to play cards which match another card in colour or value. There are also special action cards such as Wild, Skip, Reverse and Draw cards which make the game more interesting. The first player to get rid of all their cards wins the round. The winner then scores points based on the cards left in other players' hands and the first player to reach the goal score wins the game.

What is new in this release:

  • You can now choose different rule variations in the preferences. These include a rule allowing you to "stack" Draw Twos and Wild Draw Fours and to swap hands with other players when certain cards are played. See the help files re preferences for more information.
  • Help files have been updated to reflect rule variations.
  • Preferences window now has direct links to relevant help pages.
  • Tables now use alternating row colours (only in Panther).
  • Game text now shows when a player passes.
  • If the saved game becomes corrupted and can't be opened when you launch the application, the dialog asking if you want to load your saved game will now not appear and a new game will start automatically. However, saved games will not carry over from one version to the next.
  • Tool tips for player buttons will now not appear if that player is not in the game or the button cannot be clicked.
  • Sometimes the Choose Colour sheet would appear while another sheet was already on the screen, which would cause display problems. This has been fixed.
  • Fixed bug where games won statistic would not correctly record wins if challenge scoring used.
  • Font size in Help files has been fixed so that it does not look too large in Panther.
  • Fixed Panther issue where direction indicator would not redraw when it was meant to.
  • Card-playing sounds will now play even if you don't wait for the same sound to finish playing. NB: this occasionally causes the sounds to distort in Jaguar, but sounds OK in Panther.
