MetaFTPD is an open source FTP server and proxy shell application that supports both inetd and standalone operations.
Among its features, we can mention MODE Z compressed file transfers, chrooting, file locking, data-connection and firewall scripts, transparent proxying, as well as XMD5, SITE CHMOD and XSHA commands.
