MainType

MainType makes it simple to find, preview, organize, install, and print your fonts. Unlike simple font preview applications, MainType is designed for graphic artists, typographers, and other power users who demand high-end functionality such as network support, plug-ins, advanced categorizing, searching capabilities, and fast searches for fonts you need. MainType provides immediate system-wide font synchronization, with no need to refresh font lists or reboot the computer after installing fonts. Unlike most other font managers, MainType runs without administrator credentials. This eliminates the frustrating elevation prompt when managing your fonts.

This font manager works with TrueType, OpenType, TrueType Collections, and Postscript Type 1 fonts. To assist you in finding the fonts that best suit your needs, MainType allows you to rate, group, sort, and search for fonts within your collection and includes a fast and instant preview within the main font panel. You can browse your whole font library as well as define your own custom views. MainType allows you to generate an HTML-based overview of any of your fonts, and print outstanding reports of your font library.

What is new in this release:

MainType 7 comes with new Adobe InDesign CC plugins and it now allows you to export loaded TrueType and OpenType fonts. It also includes drag and drop support from Windows file explorer, a powerful automatic install fonts feature, and support for team synchronization through sync folders.

What is new in version 5.1:

Version 5.1 has fixed issue within character grid while in glyph mode.
