Jubler

Jubler is an open source graphical software written in the Java programming language and designed as a subtitle editor, which can work with SUB and SRT subtitle files.

Jubler lets users join, split, and recode subtitles into different framerates, delete and remove subtitles depending on specific patterns, and edit specific subtitles in place.

Among some of its features, we can mention that ability to view the results with MPlayer, add support for other popular subtitle formats through plugins, supports UTF-8 encoding, undo and redo functionality, and much more.

Being written in Java, Jubler is a platform-independent application that supports Linux, Windows and Mac OS X operating systems.

What is new in this release:

• Double-click on project properly works. Support CPM in main subtitle view. Fixed Regular expressions. Fix select-all.

What is new in version 5.0.1:

• This version fixes a Preferences/About menu issue with Windows and Linux.
• It supports older JRE and PPC under Mac OS X.

• Only one instance of Jubler is now run in a system. Every file remembers loading parameters and uses it when saving. Improved subtitle support. Improved visuals in Video Console window. More compact Preferences dialog. Minor changes and bug fixes.

• Automatic update support was added, so Jubler is able to update intelligently with minimum user interaction.
• The time fixed tool for overlapping subtitles was improved.
• The FFMPEG color model was improved.
