iFuntastic works with jailbroken devices; limited functionality is available for out-of-the-box devices: ringtone installation (with Sound Editor to convert arbitrary sound files, crop, add fade-in and fade-out and adjust volume;) transfer of user files and folders to and from the device are also possible. Data Transfer For jailbroken devices, iFuntastic offers access to the file system with a Finder-like File Manager. It lets you transfer files to and from the device, taking care of file format conversions. You can copy notes from the device's Notes database, voicemails, set your voicemail greeting to any sound and change carrier logos. Search You can search files and folders and for text within text and property files. An Image Browser quickly lets you find the image you are looking for. WinterBoard Support iFuntastic offers tools to make creation of Home Screen background images and WinterBoard themes easier. Also lets you create your own Cydia repositories. Home Screen Home Screen Layout right on your Mac. Simply rearrange the applications the way you want; even add gaps. Edit Customize applications, sounds, text, images and more. Add image edit settings ('styles') to all application icons at once. Built-in editors for image, sound, text and property list files make these tasks a breeze. Development Support to create and edit webclips to display on-device text, PDF, video and song files and even web sites. Lets you create applications running shell scripts. Installs the SDK header files - together with the toolchain from Cydia, you can compile and run applications and command line tools right on the device itself.

What is new in this release:

Fixes an incompatibility problem with the MobileDevice framework that comes with iTunes 9.1. If your version of iFuntastic works, then you don't need this upgrade.

Requirements:

Most functionality requires a jailbroken device. Device must be connected to the computer. WiFi access is not required. Device Firmware 2.0 to 2.2.1. Computer display size 1280 x 800 - bigger is better. 1GB or more of disk space.

Limitations:

iFuntastic's features are grouped into four levels. Each level requires a purchase for activation. The basic level is $4.95. All features as a package deal are $19.95
