GENU is a system for managing comments, news, polls, posts, and users. GENU is fully customizable through a template system and supports multiple languages.

GENU is an open-source software distributed under the terms of the GNU GPL license.

• Use of the automatic global variable $GLOBALS instead of global $variable in PHP functions.
• Some PHP corrections (uninitialized strings and undefined index).
• Changes in CAPTCHA image: better visibility, a fixed-width TrueType font, and random color characters.
• Improved navigation and viewing of comments.
• Users can now add avatars that appear in their profiles, comments, and forum.

Requirements:
