FileLink is a 32-bit Windows application supporting automated and script-driven asynchronous modem communications and basic FTP file transfers. FileLink is finding particular acceptance in medical records and billing applications. FileLink supports the Kermit, Xmodem, Ymodem, and Zmodem file transfer protocols in addition to FTP. FileLink supports a COM/OLE interface permitting complete control from a user-written program. FileLink may be installed as an NT Service on appropriate versions of Windows. The FileLink script language provides all the features you need to automatically dial your modem, recognize host prompts, send logon and password strings, send and receive text and binary files using multiple file transfer protocols, detect and handle error conditions, log results, and wait for the next session. Automated FileLink transfers can be launched from a desktop icon, DOS command line, script file, batch file, or run continuously as NT service.
