DruidBSD

DruidBSD is an open source BSD operating system, based on the FreeBSD distro and designed as a micro-distribution that supports HDD, CD/DVD and USB booting.

DruidBSD includes all the advantages of the FreeBSD operating system and can be used to rescue non-bootable systems.

Being designed to be used on large-scale enterprise deployments, DruidBSD is a powerful tool in any FreeBSD administrator’s arsenal.

DruidBSD is distributed as a hybrid Live CD ISO image, supporting both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures. It can run straight from the Live media or installed on a local hard disk drive.

What is new in this release:

• This bootable [hybridized] ISO is a FreeBSD 9.0 installer capable of installing either i386 or amd64.
• It has all the advantages of DruidBSD below but can also install FreeBSD or rescue non-bootable systems.
• It is a powerful tool in any FreeBSD administrator's arsenal.
