Once you've downloaded the software, you will be prompted to install it. Keep in mind the Clone File Finder software is digitally signed, and you should not try acquiring or altering software source-code. After installation, you will be shown the home-screen which shows how the duplicate cleaner functions. If you are looking to identify all sorts of identical files, choose the FILE SEARCH mode. You can further customize your scan and steer the program to find only identical pictures, music, videos and documents. CFC scans over 100 file extensions. If you wish to clear up your PC from unwanted duplicate music and mp3 files, you should choose the MUSIC SEARCH mode. This mode scans your files based on certain criteria involving a bunch of music tags. The same goes with the iTUNES SEARCH mode which automatically picks up the duplicate tracks and fix the problem of data redundancy. You will be given a chance to review your files even if you choose the QUICK FIX duplicate data removal option of the software. The other option is called REVIEW & FIX, and it is useful for users who want to preview files which are labelled as doubles by the CFC.
