Our C-Aware IDE provides embedded developers with a suite of tools and an intelligent code optimizing Microchip PIC C compiler that frees developers to concentrate on design functionality instead of having to become an MCU architecture expert. C-Aware allows developers to manage every aspect of their embedded software development, from design through device programming and debugging. C-Aware is the ideal environment to develop C program code with integrated built-in functions, performance analyzation and statistics, and debugging compiled code in real-time while running on Microchip PIC devices.
What is new in this release:
- Fixed an compile time error for some structure initializations when the structure was returned from a function
- Corrected a problem with extern arrays when one of the array sizes is []
- A PIC18 optimization bug has been fixed
- Fixed in issue with setup_adc() function for setting cont mode for PIC16/18 devices with an ADC2 peripheral
- Updated #use touchpad() library to create an int16 array for the TOUCHDATA global array variable
- Fixed an issue with assigning I2C pins with #pin_select for PIC18FxxQ10 family
- Added PIC18FxxQ43 family to compiler
- Added a NOP at the start of program memory for PIC18FxxQ10 chips to avoid a chip startup problem
