The main goal of CalSched and the reason behind it's inception is to provide mobile professionals a centralized scheduling application that everyone in the business can access at any time as long as they have web access either on their laptop or mobile device. CalSched is not an application that you have to install on a PC/Mac, then export the schedule to a .html file to upload to your webserver everytime anything changes. CalSched is a Web Application that runs on your webserver allowing true mobility. CalSched Personal is intended to be used in a few ways: First, anyone can use it for personal use which gives a fully functioning FREE version to the public at large. Second, the Personal version, all Personal Addon Modules and the Commercial version all use the same base code. Assuming the Personal version works on your webserver, all Personal Addon Modules as well as the Commercial version will work on your webserver. Therefore, it is also used as a test installation, to insure the paid product you are intrested in runs on your webserver before any purchase is made.
