Budget Planner

Develop a plan for retirement, buying a home, paying for college, going on vacation, or whatever other events you can think of. You can play with the numbers for interest rate and inflation to determine how you may do in working toward your goals.

What is new in this release:

• We've modernized the code of the application and built it with the latest version of Xcode.
• Fixed a few minor memory leaks.

What is new in version 2.0:

• Completely new look and feel for the application which now includes tabular result data as well as graphical results.
• Interest and inflation rate change events have been separated from events that add/subtract money.
• Much improved inflation handling - event amounts can be inflated or not before they take place, ongoing events can be inflated over time if needed, and the plan results display purchasing power taking inflation into account.
• Added built-in calculator to editable money fields; type a mathematical symbol in the field to start the calculator.
• Added option to display interest/inflation lines on graph or not.
• Removed day of month in dates because Budget Planner only works in monthly increments.
• Now requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later.
