Very important part of search engine optimization is optimization of the website's HTML code. The Blesque HTML SEO Problem Detector will run through all pages of the given website and create a simple to read report listing all problems of HTML SEO. Issues that it will look for include presence of ALT tags for all images, existence and duplication of titles and descriptions on the web pages, and presence of heading tags on pages that have text content. Additionally it will check for length of the descriptions and alt tags. For all problems, tool will capture and present in the report exact line of code that needs a fix.
This application is in a .jar file format. It's a Java format executable file. Why I left it as a .jar and didn't package it as Mac OS X executable .dmg is because I wanted to leave you a chance to try using this application on Windows OS as well. Java is a multiplatform language and this tool should work just as good on Windows OS as well as on Mac OS. I compiled it using Java 7, therefore all you need to have on your Mac or Windows computer installed is Java 7 to run this application. I didn't do much testing of this application on Windows OS. Therefore I don't guarantee perfection when running it on Windows. You can try yourself. It should work on both platforms. On Mac OS X this application has been tested and should run good. Enjoy.

Added features in version 1.5: 1) Find HTML SEO Problems - will crawl through your website's HTML and will check what you need to optimize in the HTML of your website, such as alt tags for images, meta data, heading tags, etc. 2) Find Broken Links - will crawl through your website and find all broken links if such exist on your website. As we all know, search engines penalize for broken links. Find them before search engines do and remove them. 3) Fix Content Relevance - will read your website's text content and create a list of keywords relevant to each page's content. It will tell you what search engines will see when they read your website's content. You want your website to be indexed properly by search engines for targeted list of keywords. For that, content of your pages should be properly optimized as well. 4) Create XML Sitemap - will automatically create an XML sitemap for your website.
