Bitnami PrestaShop Module is a free and cross-platform software project that provides a module for the Bitnami LAMP Stack product, allowing the user to install the PrestaShop e-commerce application on top of it, without having to install a web server, database engine or any other PHP package.

PrestaShop is an open source, full-featured, and cross-platform eCommerce shopping cart application for the Web 2.0 era. It has revolutionized the industry since 2007, by providing 100% free software with innovative functions like multi-store, full Ajax compatibility, and customizable URLs.
Installing Bitnami PrestaShop Module
To install the PrestaShop module on your Bitnami LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP) installation using the native installers offered by Bitnami for all GNU/Linux operating system, simply download the package that corresponds to your computer’s hardware architecture (32-bit and 64-bit are supported at this moment), run it and follow the on-screen instructions.
Virtualize PrestaShop or run it on the cloud
Thanks to Bitnami, you can visualize PrestaShop using the pre-built virtual machine image that have been built using the latest LTS (Long Term Support) version of the Ubuntu Linux distribution and it’s compatible with the VMware ESX, ESXi and VirtualBox virtualization software.
Additionally, you can run PrestaShop on the cloud using the pre-built cloud images created by Bitnami for the Amazon EC2 and Windows Azure cloud hosting providers, or you can install it from your own hosting provider.
