Audio companion has three main functions. It is a CD ripper that converts the music to MP3 format at the same time. It also acts as an audio recorder for recording audio from the line-in input of the sound card. It features an autosplit function for detecting the start and end of each song. It also acts as a batch processor for converting WAV files to MP3 format, increasing the volume on WAV files, and converting MP3 files to WAV format.
