AS3Obfuscator is Flash ActionScript obfuscator. It obfuscates the source files, allowing a developer to have the obfuscated ActionScript. After compiling, the final Flash .SWF is very hard to understand, when viewed with decompiler. It's the only utility that can protect ActionScript code in .FLA files (frame actionscript, classes) - it works as Flash extension to process the Adobe FLA native format. It obfuscates identifiers by renaming with mangled identifiers. Encrypts the strings and decrypts them at runtime. Options permit specifying which type of identifiers to mangle; excluding/including of (group of) identifiers; searching, sorting of original and mangled identifiers and viewing original and obfuscated source code.
