Note: If you are intending to install AppleShare IP 6.0, 6.1, 6.2 or 6.3 on any of the above hardware configurations, you must also upgrade to AppleShare IP 6.3.1 before you install this update. In addition, Apple recommends that you also upgrade to the AppleShare IP Web & File 6.3.2 update. Both updates can be downloaded from http://www.apple.com/support.
What is new in this release:
This update to AppleShare IP 6.3.1 provides compatibility with Macintosh computers running Mac OS 9.0.4 with Mac OS ROM 4.6 and later. This update is only required for customers running AppleShare IP server software on iMac, Power Mac G4, or Server G4 systems with Mac OS 9.0.4 and Mac OS ROM 4.6 or later. To verify that you have Mac OS 9.0.4 with Mac OS ROM 4.6 or later, select About This Computer or Apple System Profiler from the Apple Menu.
