Amplios Document Filer automatically renames and files a wide variety of document files (BMP, JPG, PDF, TIF, DOC, XLS, RTF, and more) according to the value of a linear bar code in the document. The application reads documents from an input folder, moves the original document to another folder for archiving or deleting, and creates new documents in an output folder. The original documents are not modified or deleted at the time the new document is created. The user can specify criteria for automatic deletion at a future time and date. The newly created document can be exactly the same as the original document with the only change being that the name of the document is based on the linear bar code value. The software can also create new compressed and encrypted files with password protection from the original file with the newly created file name still based on the bar code in the document. When the program is running it continually monitors from one to 32 different folder sets for new documents in the input folders and processes them immediately or on a schedule that you create.
Limitations:
Optional 14 day trial is free with all features of the product activated. Without the free trial or paid registration only one set of document folders can be setup, the activity log is not saved, documents cannot be compressed or encrypted, and there are periodic nag screens to encourage registration.
