picoSlides uses jQuery, oEmbed and the SlideShare API to automatically parse a SlideShare URL, retrieving its content as individual images.
These images are then embedded on the page as a simple slideshows, easy to navigate using next/prev buttons and a page number indicator.
Just in case the user wants to view the original presentation on SlideShare, a small icon is also displayed in the top right corner of the slideshow which will redirect him to the original URL when clicked.
On top of this, picoSlides also supports responsive layouts, lazy-loading operations, easy translation procedures and does not use any images for its interface.
No iframe code is retrieved and nothing more than the SlideShare presentation's URL is needed.
picoSlides comes with a few basic examples to show developers how it can be used.
